Yes, you must pay an option fee for booking a flat. The exact amount depends on the flat type:
• 4/5-room or Executive Flat: $2,000
• 3-room: $1,000
• 2-room Flexi Flat: $500
You can pay by cash, Nets, or cheque to "Housing and Development Board." If there is enough money in your CPF Ordinary Account to cover the down payment, this fee will be refunded.
