Buangkok MRT station

Buangkok MRT Station is an underground station on the North East Line located at 10 Sengkang Central, Singapore 545061, serving the Buangkok, Sengkang, and Compassvale residential areas. It opened on 15 January 2006 and is operated by SBS Transit. The station is conveniently positioned near Sengkang Grand Residences, Sengkang Grand Mall, and surrounded by numerous HDB flats and condominiums. It features an island platform and is designed to be wheelchair accessible.

The station was initially kept closed when the North East Line first began operations in 2003 due to low expected ridership but was opened after community feedback as the area developed. Today, Buangkok MRT serves a vibrant and growing residential community, offering easy connectivity for residents and access to nearby amenities. There is also a notable artwork titled "Water, Nature & Contemporary" by Vincent Leow displayed in the station.
