Can I pledge my HDB flat

Yes. If you are aged 55 or older and buying a 2-room Flexi flat with CPF after setting aside the required retirement sum, that flat will be pledged for the amount of CPF you use, up to the maximum allowed under the Retirement Sum Scheme.
