Can I rent out my whole HDB flat in Singapore?

Yes. You must fulfill your flat’s Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) first, and owners of Prime Location Public Housing (PLH) flats are not allowed to rent out the whole flat. In addition, you need prior approval from HDB, and the minimum rental period for each tenant is 6 months. The maximum tenancy is 3 years if all tenants are Singaporeans or Malaysians, or 2 years otherwise.
