Landed housing generally covers low-rise or low-density homes. They can be categorized by land title (detached house or bungalow, semi-detached house, and terrace house) or by strata title (strata detached, strata semi-detached, strata terrace houses, or mixed strata landed housing). A detached house, also called a bungalow, is a free-standing home on its own plot of land without any shared walls. It may be one or more stories high, and the minimum plot size is typically above 400 square meters unless an existing lot is already smaller. The maximum site coverage allowed usually depends on the plot size, and can be up to 50%.
