Can you rent out the whole HDB if it is under PHG

You cannot rent out the whole HDB flat if it is under the Proximity Housing Grant (PHG) and you have not completed the five-year Minimum Occupation Period (MOP). This is a strict HDB regulation: owners must first fulfill the five-year MOP before they are eligible to rent out the entire unit. This rule applies regardless of whether the flat was bought directly from HDB or through the resale market with any grants, including the PHG.
