Estimated timeline for the new developments in bay east garden

In 2027, a new garden will open next to the Founders' Memorial in Marina East, offering recreational spaces with views of the city skyline, wetlands, and a trail that traces Singapore’s efforts in greening the city. This 30.38-hectare Bay East Garden will be slightly larger than half the size of the existing 54-hectare Bay South Garden, which is known for its Supertrees and domed conservatories at Gardens by the Bay.

The Bay East Garden will be the second of three gardens to be completed within the Gardens by the Bay project. A new MRT station will also open in conjunction with the memorial, enhancing accessibility to this area.

With its lush landscape, Bay East Garden will serve as a serene green space that beautifully complements the Founders' Memorial.
