To check property ownership, you can:
1. Conduct a title search with INLIS (Integrated Land Information Services by Singapore Land Authority).
2. Conduct a search with IRAS Valuation List (note that names on the valuation list may not necessarily be the legal owner of the property).
3. Login with Singpass to "My HDBPage Login" on www.hdb.gov.sg.

Salespersons should also verify the rightful legal owner of the property by procuring evidence of ownership through a Title search under the Singapore Land Authority (SLA)'s INLIS. This should be done whether they represent a seller/landlord or a buyer/tenant.
