Yes. If you purchase a second property while still owning your first, you must pay ABSD within 14 days of purchase. However, you may apply for a remission if you sell the first property within six months of acquiring the second property. If the second property is under development, you must sell your first property within six months of its TOP or CSC, whichever is earlier.
