The Seller's Stamp Duty (SSD) is based on the actual price or market value of the property at the time of sale. If the property is sold within three years of purchase, SSD is payable as follows:
- Sell within one year of purchase – 12% SSD
- Sell within two years of purchase – 8% SSD
- Sell within three years of purchase – 4% SSD
- Sell after three years of purchase – 0% SSD
You can calculate your SSD with EdgeProp’s calculator.
