The Tanjong Rhu Road site was awarded to a joint venture between City Developments Limited (CDL) and Woh Hup with a top bid of $1,455 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr), totaling $709.25 million. This represents the winning bid from a Government Land Sale tender that closed on February 5, 2026.

The site is a 99-year leasehold private housing plot located on Tanjong Rhu Road, next to the Singapore Swimming Club. The development is expected to yield approximately 525 private homes and will be subject to building height controls of 95-100 meters.

The tender attracted five bids in total, with the second-highest offer coming from a Sunway MCL and Sinarmas Land partnership at $1,419 psf ppr. This will be the first major new residential project in the Tanjong Rhu area in decades, positioned conveniently between Tanjong Rhu and Katong Park MRT stations on the Thomson-East Coast Line.
