You must be at least 35 if applying alone under the Single Singapore Citizen Scheme for a new 2-room BTO. Currently at 33, you cannot do so yet unless you form a valid family nucleus (for example, through marriage or a fiancé/fiancée application). You would also need to be 35 for a resale flat if buying solo as an unmarried individual. If you remain single, you may have to wait until you reach 35 (or until any future change to the minimum age) or consider marrying before then. If neither option applies, you would not be eligible for a direct purchase of a newer studio flat from HDB at this time.
