Under what circumstance would my flat be returned to HDB

If you own a short-lease 2-room Flexi flat and no longer wish to live in it or become ineligible to do so, the flat must be returned to HDB. HDB will then pay a pro-rated sum of the original selling price based on the remaining lease of the flat.
