Singapore Citizens
• 1st property purchase: 0%
• 2nd property purchase: 20%
• 3rd and subsequent purchases: 30%
Singapore Permanent Residents
• 1st property purchase: 5%
• 2nd property purchase: 30%
• 3rd and subsequent purchases: 35%
Foreigners (Excluding US, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland)
• Any property purchase: 60%
Entities (Excluding Developers)
• Any property purchase: 65%
If a property is purchased jointly by different profiles (e.g. one Singapore Citizen and one foreigner), the higher ABSD rate applies.
