What are the different estates in Singapore?

There are two main categories of estates in land:
• Freehold estates: These include Estate in Fee Simple (also known as Grant in Fee Simple) and Estate in Perpetuity (also known as Statutory Land Grant).
• Leasehold estates: Ownership is for a defined duration, often 99 years (like HDB land and many condos) or sometimes longer (e.g. 999 years).
Within landed housing areas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) also designates categories such as Good Class Bungalow areas, Bungalow areas, Semi-Detached areas, and Mixed Landed housing areas.
