- You must be a Singapore Citizen, with your family nucleus including at least one other Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.
- You must be at least 21 years old. Under the Joint Singles Scheme, each applicant must be at least 35 years old.
- You must form a valid family nucleus under the Public Scheme, Fiancé/Fiancée Scheme, Orphan Scheme, or Joint Singles Scheme.
- Your average gross monthly household income must not exceed $16,000.
