You can buy a private condominium, either a new launch or a resale unit, as there is no age restriction for purchasing private properties. This option allows you to own a property as soon as you are financially ready, but it is generally more expensive than public housing.
Another option is to buy a resale Executive Condominium (EC) that has completed its 5-year Minimum Occupation Period (MOP). ECs offer amenities similar to private condos but at a slightly more affordable price. However, you cannot use CPF housing grants for this purchase, and you are subject to the Total Debt Servicing Ratio (TDSR).
If owning a property is not feasible, renting a flat or a room is a viable option. This allows you to live independently without the long-term financial commitment of a mortgage. You can rent a flat from the open market or consider sharing an apartment with friends.
