What can't you do?

You cannot rent out a private residential property on a daily or weekly basis, as all occupants must stay for at least three consecutive months. You cannot misrepresent any development’s features or surroundings in advertising (for instance, by omitting nearby buildings). You cannot make promises that are beyond your capacity to fulfil. When subletting an HDB flat, you are not allowed to conduct certain businesses there, such as beauty or massage services, car trading, or any retail activity (including pet shops).
