What grants can I get for buying property in Singapore?

You may be eligible for the following:

• Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG): For first-time buyers (singles or families) purchasing new or resale flats with at least 20 years of lease remaining.

• Family Grant (or Half-Housing Grant): For first-time family applicants buying resale flats, if they meet citizenship and family nucleus requirements.

• Single Citizen Grant: For eligible singles buying a first home, with grant amounts ranging from $20,000 to $25,000, depending on flat type.

• Top-Up Grant: For those who previously received the Singles Grant and later form a family nucleus (e.g. getting married). The top-up covers the difference between the Family Grant amount and the earlier Singles Grant received.

• Proximity Housing Grant: Provides additional support if you are buying a resale flat near or with your parents/children. Singles may get up to $15,000.
