What is the difference between land area and floor area

Land Area refers to the total area of the land on which a property is situated. It is determined through the Certificate of Title (CT) or Certified Plans for land-titled properties.
Floor Area refers to the total usable area within a building or property. For strata-titled properties, it includes the strata floor area, which is determined through the Subsidiary Strata Certificate of Title (SSCT) or strata certified plan. The floor area includes all levels of the property and may also include void areas, which are empty spaces above the floor in a strata unit.
