The Minimum Occupation Period (MOP) for new launch Executive Condominiums is 5 years from the date of the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP). During this 5-year period, you must live in the unit and cannot sell or rent out the whole unit. After 5 years, you may sell the EC to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents. After 10 years, it becomes fully privatised and can be sold to any buyer.
