In Singapore, the maximum cap for monthly CPF (Central Provident Fund) contributions is determined by the CPF monthly salary ceiling. As of 1 January 2025, this ceiling has been raised to $7,400. This means that only the portion of your monthly salary up to $7,400 is subject to CPF contributions.
For example, if you earn a monthly salary of $8,000, your CPF contribution will be calculated based on $7,400. For employees aged 55 and below, this would translate to a 20% employee contribution on $7,400, which is $1,480.
The ceiling will be further increased to $8,000 from 1 January 2026. The annual salary ceiling, however, remains at $102,000.
