Foreigners (including Singapore Permanent Residents, who are also classified as foreign persons) may buy the following:
• Private condominiums or flats (high-rise or low-rise)
• Private executive condominiums that are more than 10 years old
• Strata landed houses in approved condominium developments
• Landed properties in Sentosa Cove
• Other landed properties if granted special permission by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA)
• Shophouses for commercial use, industrial and commercial properties, or hotels
• Executive condominiums, HDB flats, and HDB shophouses, subject to Housing and Development Board (HDB) eligibility conditions
A leasehold interest in a restricted residential property (e.g. landed house outside Sentosa Cove) may also be possible if the lease does not exceed seven years.
